In addition to the Day By Day curriculum, the Pre-School and Grade R class benefit from school readiness programmes: Letterland pre-reading, pre-maths number recognition and basic addition, Smile, Stepping Stones and Threshold.
Nursery & Educare
The Nursery class is made up of 2 to 3 year old toddlers, mothered by class teacher Noleen and assistant Magda. They enjoy a variety of activities in and out of the classroom every day — including the great challenge of toilet routine, which Noleen and Magda handle marvellously.
This is not just a play group: we stimulate the children with varied activities, without pressure. At the end of every term parents receive a report — not a pass or fail, simply a picture of how your little one is doing. Sleep time runs from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.
