First post! A word from our principal

Thank you for visiting our website! I am incredibly proud of it and of Mary Poppins Children's Centre. Now, Mary Poppins Children's Centre, I can take credit for.  I can do this because I am fully involved and committed to ensuring that we remain a loving, wonderful and fun place for children to be.

However, this website is a different matter.  All the credit goes to an incredible young man who I have had the pleasure of watching grown up right here at Mary Poppins Children's Centre. Liam Adams is now 15 years old in Grade 10 at Wynberg Boys High School and he spent many years with us.  I would like to think that during these years here at Mary Poppins Children's Centre, we had some roll in guiding him to become the go-getter he is today. Liam is the person I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart for creating our website and managing it so efficiently.  Although he is no longer at Mary Poppins, we still see him regularly when he pops in to manage the website or just to say hello and sit and chat.  

​UPDATE 2018:  Liam Adams is now a fully grown-up man and a graduate of The University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada!!!  I am very proud and pleased to say that he remained in the IT & Business sector.

In fact, most of our past pupils still visit us regularly and I think to that it is because they remember having a great time here at Mary Poppins Children's Centre. So, send us your children and we'll show them a great time and give you peace of mind!
